This is a double circular stair that I built for the Ruiz family. Mr Ruiz wanted a set of stairs that curved up and left ample room below to view thru the house. I rotated the stairs out from it's center point creating this space. I connected the two stairs with a smooth radius that blended the stair with the landing.

I opened the bottom of the stair by flaring both sides and adding convex treads. The opening at the base of the stair was opened to over 8 feet, inviting you to enter.I also added declining volutes.
